I've finally begun the Adam Robinson PODCAST! Downloading the sermons just got much easier. You can still find sermons here for free download but now you can also get them from the iTunes Store for FREE! I'll be transferring them slowly over the next couple months but newer ones will end up in the podcast first.

You Can Help! Be sure to subscribe to the podcast and give it a good rating so it will be easier to find for everyone.

If you're just getting started the Bolded sermons are a few of my favorites.

How to listen:
1) Click on any of the MP3 links and you should be able to hear the sermons online.
2) Right click the link and choose "save target as" to download the sermon to your computer. Then you can put it on your iPod, burn it to CD, make 4000 pirated copies or whatever. (Course if you do the latter you'll be punished for eternity by small demons flinging pirated CDs at you but hey, man, it's your afterlife.)

Building the Future: A Study of Haggai
This is a sermon series I did a while back that might come in handy. Now don't let the title scare you away. I know Haggai probably isn't your favorite book of the Bible. But the people in this period of history faced a lot of the same questions we do: What am I supposed to do with my life? How should I be spending my time? God gave us these books for a reason! Promise! Check it out. And just think how spiritual you'll sound when you tell people you've been studying Haggai.

Unraveling the DaVinci Code
Just in time for the movie! For all of you a bit confused as to what all the hubbub is about, I figured I'd do my best to help a bit. Two years ago I gave this sermon series to my church in an effort to prepare believers for the host of questions (or just outright silly statements) we are sure to get in the wake of this best-seller. Even if you haven't read the book these sermons will help you understand how the Bible came to be, why it's trustworthy, and why it's not just a history book. If a friend has cornered you and you found yourself without an answer, check out these talks.

Part 1--The True History of the Bible
Contrary to popular belief the Bible did not descend to us from Heaven in King's English in 1611. So how did we get the Holy Scriptures? And can we be sure nobody tampered with it? Don't trust fiction writers to get facts. Here's the real scoop and it's more interesting than you might think.

Part 2--The Accuracy of the Bible
Is the Bible really the Word of God? How do you know? How is the Bible different from all the other holy books of other religions? This talk walks you through these questions and more as we look at the uniqueness of the Bible and how you can defend it.

Part 3--The Authority of the Bible
OK, OK, so it's the Word of God, but what do we do with it? Now that we've defended the Bible from it's critics, it's time to go on the offense. The Bible is God's living Word and it's more alive than you think. When we allow God to use His Word in our lives the results will be nothing less than miraculous. If you've listened to the first two don't bail now!

Rest vs. Stress: Recovering the Joy of Sabbath Living
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking you don't have time to listen to a sermon on rest, much less four. That makes you a prime candidate to listen to these sermons. In fact, I'm posting them because no one is going to have me in to do a Sabbath weekend for their church--but they should! But beware, I started this topic hoping to find some relief for our stressed out culture. What I found was much more profound and disturbing about our pride and inability to allow God to be God in our lives. You can and should find the time to listen to this series. I promise it's worth it.

The Spirit Of Christmas
I'm sure we're all a little jaded about Christmas. It's either the fight over "Happy Holidays" vs. "Merry Christmas," or the rampant over-commercialization that crowds out any sort of meaning, or the hustle and bustle that's more hassle than anything else. So it's really easy to miss the real spirit of the season. But the meaning and Spirit of Christmas is still there, buried underneath all these concerns. Honestly, there's more to Christmas than you are seeing. For me, every year that I take time to reflect on what Christmas is all about I find more and more to make me appreciate it. Check out these sermons out and hopefully we can find reclaim our center during this season.

The Hope of Heaven.
If there was any sermon I've preached that people ask for me to preach again it was this one. To be honest it's one of my favorites as well. In fact, listening again to this message there are parts I'm not sure it's even me preaching since I cannot begin to think how I would recreate it. Recorded at the Church at Brook Hills a few years ago this was a special moment at a special time. I used to sell this one as well, but I'm finally making available to all. I hope you enjoy it and that it encourages you.

Honest Surrender (The Rich Young Ruler).
This is one of my favorite sermons of all time. Honestly. It was born out of a pretty huge spiritual discovery of my own so hopefully it can help you in the same way. You may have heard of the Rich Young Ruler story (I had actually preached a different sermon from this passage already) but God opened my eyes to some new realities I think you'll be surprised by. If you are feeling a shade unsatisfied in your life you should give this one a listen.

Faith and Works.
This passage in James has confused many over the years, including some of the best Christian minds. I'm jumping into the fray here not with an answer but hopefully some helpful clues to help us unravel what's really going on here. The big question to be answered is whether or not it is possible to be a Christian and not act like one? It's a question for the ages, but an important one. Check it out.

If it's the Lord's Will...
If you are at all a control freak you have a tendency to overplaying. Perhaps that's true of almost all of us in America. (perhaps we need a vacation. Check out the Sabbath series, but I digress) The problem in all this planning is that we're leaving God out of the process. Planning isn't bad, in fact it's necessary but only when we are properly oriented in our spiritual life. James again gives us helpful advice in how to apply this to our lives

Consider it Pure Joy. . .
Each week I'm involved in a twentysomething Bible study called Citywide with my friend Wade Morris. This talk opened our walk through of James last year. Here I tackle James 1:1-18 and address the enigmatic phrase "consider it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds."

Taming the Tongue
Here's another offering from Citywide where I walk through James 3:1-12. Buckle up, it's time we did a check on what we say. But this isn't a talk on cursing. Instead James instructs us about all our speech and how we can use it for good or ill.
