Here's my firiend Corey in front of one of the houses being built in the Village of Hope. It may not look like much to you, but it's much better than what many Haitians livei n. And the bright color sets it on a hill as a beacon to the surrounding area reminding them that there is hope in their midst.

Over 1300 kids attend the Mission of Hope school every day. Last year they had the highest Math scores in Haiti yet they are one of the most affordable schools around. This scene was overwhelming after seeing the chaos outside the walls of Mission of Hope. There is almost no order in Haiti, yet here the students are well behaved, dressed well, and orderly. This is a huge part of how you help lift a culture out of poverty

The students attend chapel a couple of times a week. There's also a church that meets here weekly.

New friends.

An old night club is where over a hundred orphans now call home. As soon as we walked in we were mobbed by tons of kids who simply wanted to be hugged, high fived, and played with. They had no idea who we were and no idea we were coming. They were grateful for any compassion of affection whatsoever. These are the faces of kids who need not only the love of Christ, but a safe home and community to live in.

Chuck and his ridiculous glasses.

While touring the new property Mission of Hope will be developing soon these kids literally walked out of the jungle to hang out with us. You'll notice Chuck walking hand in hand with one of the kids. They just do that. It didn't matter we had no idea who these kids were. Love is a precious commodity in this place.
